1. Informational tool only

ClearSkin provides general skincare information generated by automated image analysis. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical diagnoses, and is no substitute for examination by a qualified clinician. Automated analysis can be wrong — both missing conditions and over-calling them.

2. When to seek medical care

See a dermatologist or GP for acne that is painful, deep, scarring, sudden in onset, accompanied by other symptoms, or simply not improving after 8–12 weeks of consistent over-the-counter care — and before starting any treatment if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a diagnosed skin condition.

3. Product mentions

Product examples are illustrative, not endorsements or offers; prices are approximate. Always read labels and patch-test new products. Ingredient guidance follows public dermatology references cited on each results page.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for the content you upload. Only upload photos of yourself, or of someone who has clearly consented.

5. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer other users' data from, or gain unauthorised access to the service. Rate limits protect the service and may temporarily block excessive requests.

6. Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for decisions made based on the app's output. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
